You're invited to join us June 5-11, 2024 for our Second Annual Cultural Journey!

This year La Rioja is calling. The Camino Association of the City of Logroño, along with other groups in the La Rioja region, are inviting members of American Pilgrims to participate in a unique Camino experience. Remember walking through La Rioja? The Rio Ebro cutting through the lowered parks of Logroño, the stunning medieval streets of Santo Domingo de la Calzada, charming Navarrete on its hillside perch, and lush vineyards lining the Camino. This is La Rioja! One can easily say it is the center of the best-known Spanish wines and is well-known for its extraordinary level of gastronomy.

We'll base our group in the Old Town area of Logrono at the Hotel FG Logroño.

Each day following breakfast we'll visit different towns, have a six-to-ten kilometer walk on varied sections of the Camino and enjoy visiting historic sites and sampling the famous Rioja regional cuisine and wines.

Registration is limited to 27 and costs USD $1,300 (double occupancy). A limited number of single rooms are available for USD $1,575 and can be booked during registration. You may register up to two travelers during registration. Payment will be collected by American Pilgrims. If you have a roommate you can enter that person's name during registration. If you do not have a roommate, a same-sex roommate will be assigned. Registration includes daily breakfast and lunch, aperitifs, winery and museum visits, entrance fees, and daily transportation via executive motorcoach. We recognize you may have dietary needs/restrictions. Our Spanish hosts will make every attempt to accommodate dietary needs but we cannot guarantee such needs will be met. 

Registration closes on Sunday, January 14, 2024. We expect this trip to sell out.

• Be a member of American Pilgrims on the Camino
• Be at least 18 years old by May 15, 2024
• Have a valid passport with an expiration date after December 15, 2024 (6 months after the end of the trip)

Cancellation Policy:  Registration and payment must be made no later than May 1, 2024. Cancellations made before April 15, 2024, receive a full refund minus a $100 fee, provided American Pilgrims on the Camino confirms a replacement attendee. If we are unable to identify a replacement, we cannot provide a refund. We are unable to provide any refund for cancellations made after May 1, 2024.
